Mourne Mountains Brewery was founded in 2015 in Warrenpoint, County Down, inspired by the breathtaking landscape and the vibrant character of the Mourne region. Fuelled by a love for the diverse world of beer styles discovered on their travels, the team set out to bring real choice and honest, locally crafted beer to Northern Ireland — a mission that continues today thanks to the support of their loyal customers.

They produce everything from clean, bright lagers and hazy, dry-hopped IPAs to straw-coloured pale ales and barrel-aged stouts darker than the Binnian Tunnel. Some beers are filtered and clear, while others remain unfiltered with a natural sediment. Brewing on a simple, hands-on kit, the team uses only the finest malted barley, speciality grains, and whole leaf hops from around the world. Their most treasured ingredient, however, is their water — drawn from the high Mournes, beautifully soft and perfect for brewing everything from crisp Pilsners to bold Imperial Stouts. With minimal automation, every batch relies on the care, skill, and experience of their brewers.
